TNT traz ao Brasil a aguardada série MOB CITYNova produção de Frank Darabont tem estreia marcada para o dia 3 de fevereiro, às 22h30*
A TNT passa a exibir no País MOB CITY, a mais nova produção do diretor Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead). Baseada em fatos reais e adaptada pelo canal a partir do best seller do autor americano John Buntin, a série mostra a batalha entre a lei e o crime organizado na glamorosa, porém violenta, Los Angeles dos anos 1 940.
MOB CITY tem um clima noir e é divida em 6 episódios de 60 minutos cada. A série estreia na TNT dia 3 de fevereiro, segunda-feira, às 22h30*, com exibição dos dois primeiros episódios.
Na trama, o prefeito Fletcher Bowron (Ron Rifkin) está decidido a combater a máfia e a corrupção que dominam Los Angeles. Para realizar tal feito, ele contará principalmente com a ajuda do Chefe de Polícia William Parker (Neal McDonough) e dos detetives Hall Morrison (Jeffrey DeMunn) e Joe Teague (John Bernthal).
Tendo servido ao exército americano como fuzileiro, Joe conheceu durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial Nex Stax (Milo Ventimiglia), que agora trabalha como advogado para o mafioso e líder mão de ferro Mickey Cohen (Jeremy Luke). O antigo elo facilita o acesso do agente às trincheiras do crime, ocupadas, por exemplo, por figuras como Bugsy Siegel (Ed Burns), que fez seu nome pelo contrabando, jogos de azar e de assassinatos cruéis.
Da disputa de poder e território emerge uma intrigante, violenta e épica história, vivida em meio às ruas, guetos e aos night clubs de Jazz, que podem parecer lindos a distância, mas de perto, revelam bastante sujeira.
MOB CITY estreia na TNT na segunda-feira, dia 3 de fevereiro, às 22h30*, com exibição dos dois primeiros episódios.
